We’re pleased to announce that the kick-off meeting of the IsoPROPEL project was successfully held online, bringing together a multidisciplinary consortium of partners from across Europe. The project unites leading experts committed to developing renewable isopropanol as a circular energy carrier for zero-emission waterborne transport.
Following introductions from all consortium partners, the project’s overall vision and research strategy were presented, outlining the pathway to achieve IsoPROPEL’s ambitious objectives. The meeting also included an introduction from the Project Adviser from the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA). The discussions sparked valuable exchanges, helping to refine approaches and strengthen alignment across all work areas.
Leaders of each work package presented their plans and methodologies, providing clarity on the next steps and key milestones. The meeting offered an excellent opportunity for partners to connect, align their efforts, and establish a strong foundation for collaboration.
